What does "natural beauty pageant" mean?
EAM is a natural pageant, which means contestants compete without heavy makeup, spray tans, flippers (fake teeth), or extreme hair pieces. We celebrate each contestant's natural beauty, talent, and personality. Light, age-appropriate makeup is permitted.
Do I have to live in a specific state to compete?
To hold a state title, contestants must reside in that state. However, each state program may have its own eligibility rules for prelim pageants. Contact your state's EAM director for specific requirements in your area.
What happens after I win a prelim title?
Congratulations! After winning a prelim title you will be invited to compete at your EAM State Pageant. At state, all division titleholders compete for the top crowns in each division. State titleholders then represent their state at the national EAM pageant.
How much does it cost to compete?
Creating an account is completely free. Pageant entry fees vary by event and are listed on each pageant's registration page. Contact us at [email protected] for current pricing details.
What are the judging categories?
Judging categories typically include Overall Appearance, Interview/Personality, Casual Wear, and Formal/Pageant Wear. Some pageants also include optional categories like Talent. The exact categories and their weights are listed in each pageant's entry packet.
Can parents or family attend pageants?
